A new issue of Knit Today has just hit the shelves, packed to the brim with projects for you to make as we wait for spring to arrive.

We’ve heard of yarn shops tempting knitters in through their doors by setting up knitting clubs, but a café which has arts and crafts as well as tasty cherry cupcakes at its heart is a new one on us.

Hmm, from snow and ice to just about coat-worthy cool – just what does the weather think it’s doing? The coldest December (-22ºC) since records began (1910, since you asked) and the woollies got chunky, as predicted by the catwalks (all marl yarns and giant, statement buttons).
