Get knitting for a better future

Oxfam is asking knitters to get their needles into action to make blankets that can be sold at music festivals. The 6x4-foot blankets go down a storm at festivals, and can be sold for up to £35 each. That’s enough money to provide clean water for 60 people in an emergency situation. The charity is also asking for knitted and crocheted jumpers, cardis and scarves that can be sold in its High Street shops.
