The shelter constantly needs warm blankets for cats and dogs, as some distressed rescue puppies and dogs will chew or rip their bedding until they feel settled. Larger blankets (about half the size of a single bed) are needed for dogs, and smaller blankets are perfect for cat baskets. You can knit in any pattern or colour yarn, and machine washable yarn is best.
