A spinning solution: If you have a lot of beads to string, a bead spinner is an excellent tool to use. Use a big eye curved needle to pick the beads up as they spin round – ideal for threading a single type or a random mix of beads onto yarn.
It is often easier to string beads onto a double length of strong beading thread first and then pass the yarn through the thread loop. Then, simply transfer the beads from one to the other.
Microfibre bead mats, which have a short smooth pile, cost around £1 and prevent beads from rolling around and off your table!
