1. On the back shaping, work the short row shaping on both sides.
Keeping the stripes correct, work as follows:
Next row: Patt 17 (17: 23: 23)sts, wrap yarn around next st like this: yf, sl1, yb, sl stitch back onto left needle, turn work and patt back across these 17 (17: 23: 23)sts to end.
Next row: Patt across the complete row from RS.
TURN WORK and starting with the WS facing, rep these two rows once more.
Next row: Patt 13 (13: 19: 19)sts, wrap yarn around next st, as before, turn work and patt back across these 13 (13: 19: 19)sts to end.
Next row: Patt across complete row from RS.
TURN WORK and starting with the WS facing, rep these two rows once more.
Next row: Patt 9 (9: 11: 11)sts, wrap yarn around next st, as before, turn work and patt back across these 9 (9: 11: 11)sts to end.
Next row: Patt across complete row from RS.
TURN WORK and starting with the WS facing, rep these two rows once more.
Now work 10 rows in patt across all sts, without shaping.

2. On the back bodice, work until the first strap measures 6 (7: 8: 9)cm or 2½ (2¾: 3: 3½)in, then continue on these 6 (7: 8: 9)sts until the strap measures 9 (10: 11: 12)cm or 3½ (4: 4¼: 4¾)in.
