Sewing up seams

Work with short pieces of thread as long pieces tend to fray.

Sew up seams in the right colour. Use the same yarn you’re knitting with to sew up the seams. If you’re using a fancy yarn, buy a smooth yarn in a similar colour to use for sewing up.

Use pins to keep even seams. Pin your knitted fabric together with large glass-headed pins before sewing it all up.
