After turning the heel, shape the instep as follows:

Round 1: Knit 1st needle, patt 2nd needle, knit 3rd needle
Round 2: 1st needle; K to last 3 stitches, k2tog, P1; patt 2nd needle, 3rd needle; P1, ssk, k to end
Repeat these 2 rounds to 54sts.
