I'm a seasoned knitter and crocheter of 50 years, my favourite makes are baby clothes and shawls and I knit quite a bit for our local neo natal unit.

Hello there my name is Mollymay aka Lynne I live in Taunton Somerset and am retired due to ill health..
I am passionate about colour and texture and design in both the practise of knitting and crochet..
I am left handed and find patterns difficult to follow as I have M.E... so when I am very tired the words blur into one.... ha ha ha.... still that doesnt stop me trying my own designs....
Anyway it will be great to meet like minded friends on here...

I knit therefore I am . I think that just about sums me up . Ive been known to lurk on other fora , mainly cardmaking ( shock horror !) but I have always been a knitter . My son, would argue that I taught Madame DeFarge to knit . Im not that old ! My bones may be ( long story, and funny in parts) but Im not , as 53 isnt old .

Hi,I am a new member today.I have been knitting for 44 of my 52 years,crumbs that makes me sound old!
During that time I have knitted many different items but now it is mainly baby clothes,toys and presents for grand-children ,my daughters and friends.I do other crafts but always return to my knitting.I have 3 dogs and 2 of them like to sit on the settee beside me while I knit.My knitting goes everywhere with me just in case I have time to do a row or 2.
Great to be on the forum at last and look forward to hearing from fellow knitters.
