i've made 10+ of these cute bags, and added different variations, patterns. they are great i'm no expert knitter so are fab for beginners to try.
My family & friends loved them i put little soaps in , and choc's for kids.
I knitted this pattern yesterday and, for me, the 8 row moss stitch border is a bit 'top heavy'. I am going to adapt it and knit a picot edging, which I think will look pretty. I'm also adding eyelet holes, rather than threading the ribbon through the knitting itself. Wish me luck!
The gifts bags are so cute!
The gifts bags are so cute! Nice idea, Thanks.I will try to knit it for gifts and for keeping small lovely things at home, for example, for jewelry.

Gift bags
These are so cute and would make a special present even more spectacular. I feel the need to try them out.

ohhh they are like the one's my mother used to knit to put little birthday and thank you gifts into when I was little.
She never used beads or trinkets though on her's though.
I remember she knitted white one's for a wedding that held sugared almonds.
