The luxurious gloves are knitted in Silk Stralis, which is a blend of 50% silk and 50% wool and the kit is available with Ruby Red, Brown, Green, Pink, Kingfisher Blue or Coral yarn. It’s suitable even for relative newcomers to knitting as the pattern is fairly straightforward; worked on 3.5mm needles, the cuff is made using a basic knit 1, purl 1 stitch, and the back of the hand is worked in stocking stitch. The triangle shape is achieved by decreasing on each row, which is explained clearly, along with how to attach the beads. Finally, the finger loop is very quick and easy to make too. With a few hours’ knitting each evening, you could complete a pair of these gloves in a week!
